In 1983, Greg Peak purchased a 580CK Case backhoe and began working nights and weekends to begin building his business while also working his full-time excavating job for a local company. After 19 diligent months, God blessed Greg with enough work to transition into operating G.A. Peak Excavating full time.

In 1986, Greg’s older son, Graye joined him in business and then in 1994, his younger son, Grant followed suit adding their own talents and expanding on the company’s areas of expertise. Over the past 30 years, God has continued to bless the family business with additional employees who have become a part of the G.A. Peak Excavating team.
